Restless Leg Syndrome
I have not been diagnosed with Restless Leg Syndrome, yet my legs would not stop when I did. My legs only bothered me when I stopped moving and was trying to relax, usually at night. I simply could not keep them still. It is difficult to describe the discomfort and pain associated with this issue, but I could not find a comfortable position for my legs and could not relax. I found myself awakened in the middle of the night and just tired and tortured for at least a year or longer. My mom told me over and over again to go see Dr. Donovan and maybe he could help, as I had quite a few other ailments as well. I do not remember how long it took before my legs were feeling better after visiting Dr. D, Katie and the girls at Atlantic Chiropractic, but I found myself thinking about other things and actually relaxing at night in front of the TV and sleeping through the night again. After twelve weeks or so I rarely have the same symptoms and my legs feel 100% better. I also take a Mg and Vitamin B supplement, have greatly reduced the number of soft drinks that I consume and have been drinking a Whey protein and fruit smoothie for breakfast for the last couple of months. While these other changes have helped considerably, my restless legs were the first thing to stop after seeing Dr. Donovan. He and his staff have really made a tremendous difference in my life.
